Cash King Football League Rules

Game Duration: Match durations vary by league and venue, with all games lasting either 30, 40, or 50 minutes, divided into two halves.

Head Height: There is no head height restriction in our leagues.

Age Limits: All players must be 16 years of age or older.

Kick Off: The initial kick-off, as well as the one at half-time, will take place from the center of the pitch. After a goal is scored, the subsequent kick-off will be taken by the goalkeeper.

Team Composition:

• 5-a-side: Maximum of 3 substitutes (8 players total).
• 6-a-side: Maximum of 3 substitutes (9 players total).
• 7-a-side: Maximum of 3 substitutes (10 players total).

Free Kicks: All players must maintain a distance of 2 yards from the ball during both indirect and direct free kicks.

Tackles and Headers: Players are permitted to head the ball. However, slide tackling is prohibited to protect both players and the playing surface. If a slide tackle occurs, a free kick will be awarded to the opposing team.

Penalties: Penalty kicks must be executed with a maximum of a one-step run-up.

Stay Out of the Box: If a defending player enters the penalty area to gain an advantage, a penalty will be awarded to the attacking team. Likewise, if the attacking player shoots from within the area, the goalkeeper will be granted a goal kick, and the goal will be disallowed.

Goalkeepers: If a goalkeeper steps outside their box to gain an advantage, a penalty will be issued. Goalkeepers have 6 seconds to return the ball to play; failure to do so results in an indirect free kick for the opposing team, ensuring the game flows smoothly. Once the ball is in play, the goalkeeper cannot receive it back from the same player until it has been passed to another player. If this occurs, an indirect free kick will be awarded.

Ball Out of Play: If the ball goes out of play, it will be restarted with a kick-in.

Cards for Misconduct:

• Blue Card: Issued for minor offenses. A player receiving a blue card must sit out for 2 minutes without a substitute.
• Yellow Card: For cautions, a player receiving a yellow card incurs a £12 fine for misconduct.
• Red Card: For serious offenses, a red card results in ejection from the game, a £30 fine, and a ban from the next game. Repeated misconduct may lead to a season-long ban and reporting to the county FA.

We understand that competitive play can be frustrating. All bans will be determined by the referee and the league manager. Recklessness or any attempts to harm other players will not be tolerated, and any abuse directed towards officials will be addressed by the FA and the league. CASH KING FOOTBALL reserves the right to ban individuals or teams for gross misconduct. In the event of a ban, you will be charged for the full season. Fair play and safety are our top priorities.

Violent Conduct: Any violent conduct, including spitting at an opponent or official, will result in immediate suspension. Insulting referees will lead to ejection and a review by the league.

THE REFEREE'S DECISION IS FINAL.

Additional Rules:

• Shin pads must be worn at all times (no exceptions).
• Teams must have matching colored tops.
• No jewelry is permitted.
• No metal studs on 3G or 4G pitches.

We strive to ensure that games are safe for all participants. Anyone violating these rules will be removed from the game until the matter is resolved.

Game Abandonment: If a game is abandoned by the referee, it will be rescheduled for a later date.
